Let’s Get Connected!
Connection is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re interested in volunteering, donating, partnering, hosting a fundraiser, or simply learning more, there are many ways to connect with Monarch 61. Wherever you’re starting from, we’d love to explore how we can work together!
Questions?
-
We welcome individuals, businesses, and organizations who share a commitment to safety, healing, and prevention. Because we work closely with women and minors, all volunteers and partners must be willing to complete a background check and have no history of violent criminal offenses. These safeguards help ensure our spaces remain safe and supportive for everyone involved.
-
No prior experience is required. What matters most is a willingness to learn, respect boundaries, and engage in a trauma-informed way. Volunteers must be able to pass a background check and should not be navigating an active or unstable situation that could impact their well-being or the safety of others. We believe in honoring capacity for both those we serve and those who serve alongside us.
-
More than 80% of Monarch 61’s overall operating budget goes directly toward providing free, prevention-focused, healing-centered services for women and girls. Donations help sustain programming, cover essential materials, and ensure access to care without financial barriers.
-
Absolutely. Community-led fundraisers are a meaningful way to support our mission. Because of staff capacity, hosts are responsible for overseeing their fundraiser in its entirety. Prior approval from our Executive Director is required before using Monarch 61 branding or messaging, and approved materials will be provided once permission is granted.

Partnerships can take many forms, including referrals to our programs, professional services (such as haircuts or styling for participants), guest speaking during classes, assistance with events, or general facility support and maintenance. We value partnerships rooted in mutual respect, shared values, and meaningful impact.
